Judith Bruijnzeels, born on the 22nd of June 1985 in Breda, The Netherlands, is currently living in Maastricht.
In my work I like to challenge myself and the viewer to question today's visual language.
What do words mean, can an image have a strong impact in all of its simplicity–or is the paper on which it exists as important as the ink it was drawn with?
I like to narrow things down to their core, until I've found a way to translate the subjects chosen by me into the imagination of the viewer.
The way these objects can be viewed must be manipulated by me, I abstract but still want control of the way the drawing is to be regarded.
